The Texas A&M Chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization was founded in 2013. In May 2017, our chapter merged with the Texas A&M Entrepreneurship Society, or ESociety for short, which was founded in 2011 with the goal of creating an organization where students could meet and get introduced to the entrepreneurial community. ESociety was the oldest student organization created by students who wanted to explore entrepreneurship. Texas A&M's Chapter of C-E-O is award-winning, earning a Top 3 ranking in 2013 and 2016 at the C-E-O Global Conference Best Chapter Competition in Tampa and Kansas City, respectively. The year after ESociety was recognized, members moved their meetings from main campus to Research Park when Startup Aggieland was opened. After the merger of C-E-O and ESociety, student leadership adopted the governing structure of C-E-O National and a more global mission.
